Welcome to the Residenza Terme Neronensis.
The Hotel Terme Neronensis is housed in a monumental structure from the early 1800s and was one of the first examples of spas with hospitality.
The first medical hydrology conferences were held in its neoclassical rooms, which gave birth to the modern science of thermal therapy.
The structure dominates the symbolic monument of the city of Pozzuoli, “the Temple of Serapis” or also called “Macellum”, and is set in an exclusive archaeological park; in fact, inside there are approximately 1200 square meters of Roman mosaic rooms that make the structure unique in the world.
Furthermore, the hotel has two historic thermal springs: the first, called “Fonte del Cantarello”, is described in “De balnies Puteolanis” by Pietro da Eboli; the second, called “Bagno di Fontana” or “Bagno di Cicerone”, is mentioned in the Historia Naturalis by Pliny the Elder in chapter 31. These waters are used by our guests because the same waters have natural beneficial effects on our body.
In addition to these waters, thermal treatments such as mud, bath, aerosol therapy, sauna, massage therapy, etc. are provided.
It should be emphasized that the view from the structure is incomparable as, with a single glance, you can embrace a gulf that has had a natural importance for the history of Rome.
The location is not secondary, as it is very central, not only within the city of Pozzuoli, being a few dozen meters away from the bus stop, the subway, the Circumflegrea and the ferries to the islands, but also with respect to the city of Naples; in fact, guests are about 20 minutes from the historic center of Naples.
In addition to the city of Pozzuoli and the city of Naples, within an hour, our guests can reach destinations such as the Amalfi Coast, the Sorrento Coast and islands such as Capri, Ischia and Procida.
